Grant Information
OPTF set up an endowment with the Oklahoma City Community Foundation. Donations to OPTF are combined with other donations and invested in sound financial accounts that earn interest to further grow the fund. Matching funds are also periodically available to increase the endowment funds available.
Donated funds are made available to individuals and groups through Oklahoma Physical Therapy Foundation (OPTF) grants. These are divided into three categories:
Research – These grants assist with research studies that investigate questions of importance to Physical Therapy in Oklahoma, and will add to the body of knowledge related to improvement of Physical Therapy in the state. Please click here for a Research Project application.
Education – Educational program grants provide funding for programs that support professionals in Physical Therapy and may include support to individuals in the community. To apply for this grant, Please click here for an Education Program application.
Community Service – Grants are also available for community service projects related to Physical Therapy, physical activity, fitness, health, wellness, and / or prevention that positively impacts Oklahomans. To apply for this grant, Please click here for a Community Service Project application.
The OPTF Grants Committee reviews grant applications and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors on education, research and community service programs requesting funding.
The due date for submission for 2011 grants
is 5 p.m. November 1st, 2010.
Proposals must be postmarked by the due date to be eligible for review. To ensure proposals have been received by the OPTF, investigators may either request e-mail notification or send a stamped self-addressed postcard for return upon receipt by OPTF.
